About Sweet Action
Sweet Action is a Denver based ice cream company seeking to make our differences smaller and bring people closer through our love of ice cream.
 
When Sweet Action opened in 2009, most ice cream was made with flavoring, coloring and fast, yet thoughtless production processes. While a third wave ice cream movement was underway, the wave hadn’t made it to Denver.
 
Sweet Action started to change this.  We are committed to make the best dairy and vegan ice cream.  We source high quality dairy, use fresh fruit and homemake our own baked goods. With production running on wind energy and a team that’s supported by fair living wages and benefits, we keep it sweet for all!

Locally Sourced

We source our high quality dairy from farms in Longmont, Colorado. We also have a dairy plant license and a pasteurizing tank so we can make our own bases for some of our more unique flavors.

We use fresh fruit, sourced from the Rocky Mountain Region when possible, and make all our baked goods and mix-ins ourselves.

As one of Xcel Energy’s first Windsource commercial customers (literally the poster child)– our whole operation runs on wind energy.

In addition, we use compostable packaging in each of our parlors, and recycle everything we can.

Made by hand means made by people. We celebrate diversity and strive to create a staff that reflects the communities we serve.

We pay dependable wages that are well above the tipped minimum wage so our employees can feel financially secure through slower times of the year.
